In the month of June/2024, the Directorate of Narcotic Control, District Office, Jhalkathi conducted a total of 80 raids in various places of the district and settled 08 cases in Mobile Court. Distribution of anti-narcotics awareness leaflets among the public during the campaign - 400. An anti-narcotics awareness meeting was organized at Jezla Jail, Jhalkathi. Public awareness meeting and screening of anti-narcotics short film organized by “Sachetan Mahal”, a voluntary organization to fight against drugs, militants, evictions and terrorism. 17 umbrellas, 02 bags, 100 stickers, 16 genjis containing anti-drug awareness campaign were distributed.
