On 28/12/2023 AD based on a secret information that a large amount of Yaba is being smuggled, a smart team of Jhalkathi district office conducted a raid in front of Akalima Moazzem Hossain Degree College in Basanda village along with 1,000 (one thousand) pieces of Yaba tablets along with the accused Md. Abul Bapari.  (35) was arrested and a regular case was registered at Jhalkathi Sadar Police Station by Mohammad Lutfar Rahman, Inspector, Narcotics Control Directorate, District Office, Jhalkathi.
