On 26/11/2023, under the leadership of Mr. Anuja Mondal, learned Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate, Jhalkathi Sadar, Jhalkathi, Directorate of Narcotics Control, District Office, Jhalkathi and Mobile Court Team conducted an operation in New Kalabagan area under Jhalkathi Municipality to arrest Md. Rahat (28). Accused of the crime of storing narcotic drugs for the purpose of yaba and injection, he was sentenced under the Narcotics Control Act under the Mobile Court and sent to the district jail. The prosecuting officer of the said case is Mr. Md. Lutfar Rahman, Inspector, Narcotics Control Directorate, District Office, Jhalkathi.
